Unlike traditional libraries, Songwriters Portal takes zero percent of your royalties, publishing, or master rights. We negotiate your contract details. Once a contract is finalized, we chage a flat rate of 18% of the up-front amount payable to the songwriter.
Note** Songwriters Portal never takes a royalty split. However, the client may want to do so. We always negotiate the best deal for our members, always striving for no royalties, period.

Will You Change the Lyrics?
Unfortunetly, no. We can't offer a money-back guarantee on Tunes for Lyrics because it is entirely labor based. It costs us to make your song and we can't recover our expenses.
We will change the lyrics only if absolutely necessary to enhance the song and make it "fit" the music tracks that we will be creating. Lines in the verses and choruses may need to lenghtened or shortened to fit the musical tracks. If this needs to happen, we will contact you and cover any modifications.

How Long Does This Processs Take?
Email your Lyrics to staff@songwritersportal.com. Include a short .mp3 file of you humming the tune so we know what you are expecting it to sound like. We will get close, but may vary.
It typically takes us a week to produce the music and match it with your lyrics. However, depending on our schedule, it could take a bit longer. We do not rush recordings. We want every recording we make to sound as good as possible.
