We have provided a great package for Sync Licensing. This is a middle of the road plan that contains most of the bells and whistles to help get your tracks in front of those who make the decisions.


As stated before, Sync licensing is the other side of Song Distribution that you are most likely familiar with. Song distribution is very likely at the end of it's life for the songwriter. Why? Because over 10,000 new songs are being distributed on a daily basis.


It doesn't take a rocket scientist to determine wheather you songs will ever be seen by a Music Industry Pro or not, much less get signed. We at Songwriters Portal feel that this is the next big opportunity for you to actually earn money.

Details for  the Pro Plan

  • All new members receive the client portal. It is a custom written, secured web application that allows you to sign in and view/control all of your uploaded songs and submissions. You can view the real-time status of any song you submit.
  • When uploading a new song, the 10 & 30 second cutdowns are created for you, saving you hours of work.
  • Song players are built-in so you can review any song that you submit.
  • After your song is uploaded, it goes through an approval process. If approved, you will see it's status change from pending to approved.
  • At this point we spend an hour or so entering your song, lyrics, metadata, royalty splits, and much more into our global distribution system. This system is searchable by supervisors looking for a soundtrack for TV, Ads, Movies, etc.
  • If a supervisor or MIP is interested in your song, they will contact us. We will handle all licensing and negotiations between the songwriter and the client.
